Poem #19 - Sitting Outdoors in a Café

Outdoors in a café was the place,
To enjoy the sun gently caressing the face,
Where consumed was a sandwich and a cup of coffee
The first cold,
And the second piping hot
To the hundredth degree.

The company was one of enjoyment,
That was to everyone quite evident.
The atmosphere created a dreamy state,
As the remaining diners began to fade,
And those at the main table relished
What they ate.

The End
